Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. (1841–1935) is one of the most influential associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States in modern times. He had influenced Western and Chinese legal thoughts for more than a century. This book outlines Holmes’ thoughts from multiple perspectives and makes important contribution to the study of the history of jurisprudence.

作者简介Author Introduction

苏基朗，澳洲国立大学哲学博士，现任澳门大学学生事务副校长、历史学讲座教授、人文社科高等研究院代院长、法学院礼聘法律史教授等职。

Billy Kee-long So currently serves as Vice Rector (Student Affairs), Chair Professor of History, and Interim Director at Institute of Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Macau.

于兴中，哈佛大学法学博士，现任美国康奈尔大学法学院王氏中国法讲席教授、杭州师范大学特聘教授。

Yu Xingzhong is currently Anthony W. and Lulu C. Wang Professor in Chinese Law at Cornell University Law School, and Guest Professor at Hangzhou Normal University Law School.

苏寿富美，多伦多大学安大略教育研究院哲学博士，现为香港大学法律学院访问学者。

Sufumi So is currently a visiting scholar at the School of Law, the University of Hong Kong.
