毛升，美国宾夕法尼亚大学历史系博士，曾于台湾中央研究院近代史研究所从事博士后研究，现教香港岭南大学历史系。研究领域为中华人民共和国史、边疆与边境史、冷战国际史、城市史，以及笑史。他在The China Review 、《中央研究院近代史研究所集刊》、《二十一世纪》等刊物上发表多篇文章，亦是傅高义（Ezra F. Vogel）着《中国和日本：1500 年的交流史》（香港中文大学出版社，2019）一书的中文译者。 Mao Sheng, Ph.D., Department of History, University of Pennsylvania, was engaged in post-doctoral research at the Institute of Modern History at the Academia Sinica, Taiwan. He now teaches at the Department of History at Lingnan University in Hong Kong. His research fields include the history of the People's Republic of China, the history of frontiers and borders, the international history of the Cold War, the history of urban cities, and the history of laughter. | |||
